ORGANIZATIONAL & WORKFORCE DEVELOPMENT

Connecting communities, facilitating programs, and building organizational capacity

A NOTE FROM THE OWNER

Building Bridges & Solving Problems

Implementing new solutions and building capacity for community development

Before founding Waypoint Strategies, I spent over a decade in the nonprofit sector in leadership positions from Program Development at Partners in Careers to Operational Management at Soul River, to Business Development for Machinists Institute.I specialize in designing and implementing new initiatives from the ground up. I build capacity by developing the SOPs and KPIs to create a strong organizational foundation. I design and deliver training, mentorship, and workshop facilitation. My work is holistic, covering everything from strategic plan design to event planning to program development like Seeds to Salmon, the Emerging Entrepreneur Academy, the Springboard Initiative, and Student Re-Engagement Interventions, with a deep focus on Experiential Education and Work Based Learning.I am deeply committed to public service holding board and committee positions with Leadership Clark County, Lower Columbia Fish Enhancement Group, Boys and Girls Club, Washougal School District, and most recently elected as Vice President of Columbia River Mental Health Services Board of Directors to help transition the organization into it's next phase. In recognition of this public service, I was honored with the 2023 General George C. Marshall Leadership Award, and am now Chairman of the Selection Committee.

Waypoint Strategies Services

Program Management & Facilitation

Problem Solving:My specialization is designing, managing, and facilitating programs to create high-impact experiences that build tangible skills, social capital, economic mobility, and self-reliance for participants. I provide curriculum development, program ideation, implementation, and evaluation that delivers measurable outcomes for your participants and your organization.

Community Outreach & Business Development

Building Bridges:I build strategic ecosystems that connect industry, education, and nonprofit sectors. My work involves identifying key partners, cultivating long-term relationships, developing and executing the outreach strategies that build a thriving network. The goal is to generate new funding, forge strategic alliances, and create tangible opportunities for growth, so you can expand your impact.

Organizational Development

Resilient & Effective Organizations:This work often requires a willingness to embrace hard truths. I provide the evaluation based insights required for long-term health and intentional, sustainable growth. My role as a strategist is not to facilitate a consensus, but to analyze the situation and design the actionable plan. By redeveloping SOPs and KPIs, guiding strategic turnarounds, implementing process improvements, and creating clear forecasts, I help organizations reclaim their narrative and build a streamlined, accountable organizational foundation that supports a sustainable future.
